On Tuesday, May 26th, 351 first responders with Williamson County’s Emergency Management Agency, Department of Emergency Communications, the Office of Public Safety and the Volunteer Fire Service received gift cards from the Williamson County Fair Association, Inc. (WCFA). The WCFA Board presented the gift cards to individual representatives from each department at the Public Safety Center.
Each gift card was purchased in an effort to support locally owned businesses, as previously announced by WCFA. Williamson County Public Safety. Director Bill Jorgensen stated, "We are incredibly grateful to WCFA for their generous donation to our first responders as recognition for all the work they do for our community each and every day. These gifts also support our local business community, which is more important than ever during these times."
Employees who have the authority to make any binding decisions for the Williamson County Office of Public Safety or any of its departments or divisions were not eligible to receive a gift card.
